Aim

This course addresses the neural circuits and computational principles underlying perception, cognition, and behavior, from a molecule-to-man perspective. We examine how distributed brain systems give rise to functions such as perception, using the visual system as a model in Neuroscience. Emphasis is placed on linking neurophysiological mechanisms with cognitive theories through experimental and computational and machine learning approaches.
